M. 183 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Chenoweth, Peirce, Case, Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Trustee: Moon. The Minutes of the meeting held June 4th, 1923 were read and approved as read. On motion duly carried Otto Rinderknecht was granted permission to remove pepper trees from in front of his residence on Soldano Avenue. On motion duly carried E. H. Smith was granted per- mission to construct a driveway into Lot 27 Block 24. Such work to be done under the supervision of the Street Superintendent. On motion duly carried the request of D. I. Nofziger for permission to pipe waste water under Pasadena Avenue was denied. It was moved that the Water & Light Superintendent be authorized to purchase the following supplies: 10 5 amp. liht meters. 2 coils of 18 wire. 1 steel tape line 6 5/8 water meters. Carried by the following vote: Ayes. Trustees: Meier, Case, Peirce, Chenoweth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Moon. The following Resolution was presented: "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY 'OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $500.00 FROM THE WATER FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND AND.$1500 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND." The Resolution was read. It was moved that the Resolution be adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Meier, Case, Peirce, Cheroweth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Moon.
