HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1153RESOLUTION N0. 2,1�3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ORDERING•THE'CITY 'ENGINE2R•`y.� OF SAID CITY TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECI- FICATIONS FOR THE IMPR0VEMENT OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD AND CERTAIN PORTIONS OF OTHER_ - STREETS WITHIN SAID --CITY. - - - - - - 0 - - - - - - RESOLVED, that Paul E: Rressly,-City -Engtieer'of-the dity of Azusa,be, and he'le; hereby ordered•'to prepareIplang`and specifications for the followirig work'to be done and improvement to be made in said City, to -wit: I- That Foothill'Boulevard from the•westerly' Uoundary line of said 'City to a line 3120 feet easterly of -'and parall'ei`--thereIWith the graded and that a portion of the roadway lying-b'etweenla line twenty -(20) feet northerly and twenty (a0)! feet south 'erlp1of'and parallel with the center -line of said street ,be' paved "'with= 1'llite 'Processed Asphaltic Pavementp and that shoulder's of maoadam'pave meat eighf (8) feet in width be constructed along the northerly and southerly sides of said hereinbefore described'forty (40) ' <-:; ; foot wide pavement; also that Foothill Boulevard from a line 3120 feet easterly of and parallel with the westerly boundary line :of said.City to the center line of Dalton Avenue be paved with *illite Processed Asphaltic Pavement to a width of seventy-six (176) feet, and from:the center line of Dalton Avenue to.the .easterly boundary line of said City that the roadway of said,_,�� Foothill Boulevard:be paved between the present curb lines with Willite Processed Asphaltic Pavement; also.1the gradin'g_ddd_.paving_.. with Willits Processed Asphaltic Pavement of those portions of all streets intersecting with or terminating in said Foothill Boulevard lying adjacent thereto, in order to form a proper junction with existing street surfaces on said intersecting streets; also - 1 -
