A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA ORDERING THE PLANS AI•ID SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF I,•SAIN OUT -FALL MIMS AND SEVIAGE TREATMENT PLANT IN THE CITY
OF AZUSA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT E4ADE TO
THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH AND ORDERING LEGAL PROCEEDINGS FOR A
BOND ISSUE IN TEE SUEZ OF 0100,000.00.
The City 4ouncil of the City of Azusa do resolve
as follows:
RESOLVED, that F. S. Currie, City Engineer of the
City of Azusa, an unlicensed architect, be, and he is hereby order-
ed to prepare plans and specifications for the following work to be
done and improvement to be made in said City, to -wit:
For the construction of main out -fall sewers and
sewage treatment plant in accordance with the application for per-
mission heretofore made to the State Board of Health.
RESOLVED, that the Engineer be further instructed
to initiate the necessary proceedings to submit to the qualified
voters of Azusa the question of issuing the City bonds in the sum
of One hundred thousand (100,000.00) dollars, for the construction
and erection of said main out -fall sewers and sewage treatment plant
and the purchase of the land necessary therefor.
The compensation for and the service to be done by
said City Engineer in connection with said work shall be and are as
included in the general contract of employment between the City of
Azusa and the Currie Engineering Company.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the Uity of Azusa at a regular
meeting thereof held this 17th day of September, 1928.
