HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1106AD • • 0 '• W RESOLUTION NO. 1106. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF AZUSA REQUIRING PLANNING COMMISSION TO MAKE TENTATIVE REPORT. The City Council of the City of Azusa do resolve as follows: WHEREAS the public interest, health, comfort, convenience, preservation of the public peace, safety morals, order and the public wel- fare, demand the adoption of an ordinance creat- ing or dividing the city into districts within dome of which it shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limit- ed, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that the City Planning Commission be and it is hereby required to recommend the boudaries of such districts and appropriate regulations and restrictions to be en- forced therein, and make a tentative report and hold public hearings thereon in the time, form and manner required by the act of the legislature entitled, "An act to provide for the establishment within municipalities of districts or zones within which the use of property, height of improvements, and requisite open spaces for light and ventilation of such buildings, may be regulated by ordinance." Approved May 31, 1917. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting held June 18, 1928, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Demmitt, Stone, Smith, Dilley, Howard. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. City Clerk of the City o Azusa.
