TMRE:tS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa did; on the 21st day of February . 19 27 , pass its Resolution of Intention No.959 for tae improvement of Crescent Drive in said City under and pursuant to the provisions of the Vrooman Act , and the amendments thereto and to the resolutions, notices and other proceedings of said Board duly adopted and taken, reference to said Resolution of Intention being hereby expressly made for further particulars; and WBERMS, the contract for said work and improvement was duly awarded and thereafter duly completed to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent of said City and this Council whereupon an assessment, diagram and warrant wero made, recorded and delivered to the ;ontractor in time, form and manner as required by said act, and the cortrac.ar having mado due return thereon and the same having boon duly recorded; and MAEREGS, on December 1 .,'19 27 ,, the Street Super- intendent of said City made and filed with the clork of. this City a com-. pleto list of all assessments unpaid'theraunder upon the respective assess- ment or diagram numbers,' thereon, whereupon said clerk gave notice of the filing of said list, and fixed in said notice Monday the ,%90th day of December , 19'27 , at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. That bonds shall be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments to said amount of $ 2,028.04 in accordance with the provisions of said improvement act and the "Improve- ment Bond Ac*k of 1915" and under and pursuant to the resolutions, notices and proceedings of said board duly adopted and takent said bonds shall be called "Improvement. Saio. bcrda ghat_ ;,z� io,,ued'in series, and the unpaid assessments as shows, on as -d ;.st filed by the Superinten0e2:,.t of Streets and detormined by th; Cl -y Cocr_cil together with inorest thereon, shall remain and constitute a trust fund for the redemption and paynent of said bonds and of the interest which may be due thereon, :vh_h unpaid assessments shall be payable in annual series correspond- ing In number to the number of series of bonds issued, and an even arifanl proportion of each assessment issued, and an even annual pro- portion of each assessment shall be payable in each year preceding the date of the maturity for each of the several series of bonds issued, and such proportion of oaab. assessment coming due in any year, together with the annual_ interest thereon, shall in turn be payable in install- ments as the goneral municipal taxes of said City on real property are payable, and shall become delinquent at the same times and in the .same proportionate amounts and bear the same proportionate ponalties for delinquency. Said bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer of said City and countersigned by the clerk who shall affix thereto the official seal of said City; the interest coupons affixed thereto shall be signed by the Treasurer or bear his engraved, printed or lithographed signature; and such signing and sealing of said bonds by said officers and signing of said coupons by said Treasurer shall cohstitute and be a sufficient and binding execution of each and every one of said bonds and all of the coupons thereof respedtivoly. Said bonds shall be substantially in the form set forth in said Improvement Bond Act. The interest coupons attached to each of said bonds and ev- idencing the interest to accrue thereon shall be numbered consecutively and be substantially in the following form, to -wit: Coupon No. 2 $ 4.73 The City of Azusa,California, will pay to the bearer hereof on the second day of July, 19 29 , # 4.73 at the office of the City Treasurer, said sum being the semi-annual interest due on Improve- mont Bond No. 1 of Series No. F Dated: December 19 , 19 27.
