A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Azusa,

appointing P. J. Tscharner, city attorney of said city and fixing
compensation:

The City Council of the City of Acusa, do resolve as follows:

Yhereas the resignation of Thomas A. Berkebile as City
6
_Attorney of the City of Azusa has been heretofore accepted to
7
take effect October Ist., 1927, and z? vacancy in said office now
8
exitts,
Id0'.7 THE=:;FORE, Be It Resolved, that P. J. Tscharner be and

heris hereby appointed City Attorney of the City of Azusa, at
11
a salary of One Hundred ( � I00.00) per month, for which salary
12
the said Oity Attorney shall attend the meetings of the Council
•

of said city, shall act as legal advisor of said sha��
14
prepare all resolutionsf and ordinances necessary to be pre -
15
pared in the transaction of routine business of said city, and
16
shall advise other officials of said City in the manner required
17
by law:

Provided, However, that for all other services rendered
19
the said City by said City Attorney, he shall be paid in addition
20
to the foregoing salary, such compensation as shall be reason -
21
ably compsurate with the services rendered.

I hereby cartify that the foregoing resolution was duly
24
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a Regular
25
meeting held October.3rd., I927, by the following vote:
