RESOLUTION NO. /0 3 2,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TRE, CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING THE
PROCEEDINGS AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND DIAGRAM FOR THE IMPROVEUENT
OF ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 289 29, 36, 37 AS DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF MTEFA-
TION NO. 948 AND ORDERING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO DRAG! THE WARRENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa pursuant to the
provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911" and to the
"Improvement Bond Act of 1916", having ordered the City Engineer to prepare
an assessment and diagram for the work and improvement described in Resolution
of Intention No. 948approvod and adopted on the 7th day of Febraary, 1927,
said Resolution being hereby expressly referred to for further particulars;
and said assessment and diagram having been filed with the City Clerk of said
City,
AND MIEREAS, notice of the filing of the assessment made to cover the ,
sum due for the work performed, and of the time and place which were therein
fixed by the City Clerk, then all persons interested in the work done.or in the
assessment would be heard by the City Council was posted, published and mailed
in the time, manner and form required by Section 21 of said Act, as appears
from the affidavits of publication, posting, and mailing on file with the
City Clerk, and appeals, if any, coming on duly and regularly for hearing and
the City Council having duly heard and considered the same,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND DETERM11 ED, by the City Council of the City of
Azusa that said work has boon performed according to the contract in a good
and substantial manner, that no portion of the work for any reason was omfbtted
or illegally Included in the contract for the same, that the assessment and
diagram made in pursuance of the provisions of said act were correct, wherefore
all the acts and determinations of the Superintendent of Streets and the City
Engineer relative to said work and imrlaovem6= and the assessment and diagram
be, and the same are hereby approved, ratified and oonfirmod.
The Superintendent of Streets Is hereby inetructod to draw a warrent
in favor of the contractor, A. L. MEIER, and deliver said warrent, with sea -
essment and diagram attached, to said contractor.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w as duly and regular-
ly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof hold September 12, 1927, by the following vote, to -wit:
