RESOLUTION NO. 1250
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE IMPROVEPdENT
OF SAN GABRIEL AVENUE, WITH THE INSTALLATION OF ORNAMENTAL
LIGHTING SYSTEM.
The City Council of the City of Azusa do
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS a written protest has been filed
with the City Clerk of Azusa requesting that no further
action be taken for the improvement of San Gabriel
Avenue with the installation of ornamental lights, and
WHEREAS said protest is signed by more than
Fifty per cent (501) of the frontage on said street,
and
WHEREAS the City Council is satisfied that
if the work is permitted to proceed the same will be
protested out by a majority protest, and to proceed
will therefore only result in unnecessary expense.
THEREFORE BE IT

was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of
the City of Azusa at a regular meeting held January 5,
1931, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, 1'dilliams, Iduehe,
Meier.
NOWS: None.
ABSENT: None.
