HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1219v • 0 • • • RESOLUTION P:O. 1219 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO RECOMNEND BOUNDARIES, RESTRICTIONS AND MAKE TENTATIVE REPORT AS REQUIRED BY ACT OF LEGISLATURE. WHEREAS, the public interest, health, com- fort, convenience, preservation of public peace, safety, morals, order and the public welfare, demand the adoption of an ordinance creating or dividing the City into districts within some of which it shall be unlaw- ful to erect, construct or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be .limited, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Azusa that the City Planning Commission be and it is hereby required to recommend the boundaries of such districts and appropriate re- gulations and restrictions to be enforced therein, and make a tentative report and hold public hearings there- on in the time, form and manner required by the Act of the Legislature entitled, "An Act to provide for the establishment within municipalities of districts on zones within which the use of property, height of im- provements, and requisite open_ spaces for light and ventilation of such buildings, may be regulated by Ordinance", approved May 31, 193.7, and all acts amendatory thereof. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of'Azusa at a regular meeting, held on the 7th day of July, 1930 by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier.
