THE S. TD CITY ON ..PRTL 14, 1930. The City Council of the City of Azusa do resolve as follows: WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held and conducted in the City of Azt<sa, County of Los Angeles, State of California, on i'.onday, the 14th day of April, 1930, as required by law; and VIIIEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally given and that there was one voting precinct established for holding said election, consisting of consolilation of regular City Precincts for holding State and County elections, as the same 'dere established by the Board of Supervisors of Los r.ngeles County on the 29th day of December, 1925, and no-,, being on record in Book 87-A of the minutes of the said Roard of Supervisors; that election officers were appointed and election st;.nnlies fu-nisl.ed, and that in all respects said election was held and conducted and the returns thereof made and declared, in time, form and manner as required by the General Laws of the State of Calif- ornia governing elections in cities of the fifth and sixth classes; and WIIERI;P,S, the City Council of the City of Azusa net at the Council Chamber of said Council. on Monday the 21st day of April, 1930, to canvass the returns of said election and install the newly elected officers; whereupon the said Council found that the number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted `or, the result of said election and other mat- ter required by law, to be as hereinafter stated, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED IM DECLARED AS FOLLO`S: That said rcgul_ar Municipal Election was held and conducted in the City of Azusa. Johnson was elected to the office of Member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, for the full term of four (4) yens. Also that Charles E. Mace was elected to the office of Member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, for the full terra of four (4) years. Also that Charles E. Williams was elected to the o'fice of Member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, for the full Berm of four (4) years. Also that August L. Meier was elected to the office of Member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, for the short term of two (2) years. -2- Also that Joseph C. D:uehe was elected to the office of Member of the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, for the short term of two (2) years. Also that I-Jrs. '.Iae A. Hynes was elected to the office of City Clerk of the City of ilzusa, California, for the un- e:cpired term of two (2)ars. AI -M BE TT ?JRTiIER RI," ,11ED, that the City Clerk shall immediately mal=e and deliver to each of such persons so elected a Certificate of Election signed by her and duly authen- ticated; that she shall also i^pnse the constitutional oath of office upon said person so elected as Member of the City Council of said City, and City Clerk, and sh�_1.1 have them subscribe thereto <:nd filo the same in her ofg'ice; whereupon, each and all of sair5 persons so elected to said respective offices shad be inducted into sail respective office to which they have been elected.
