M.257 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney. Absent: None. It waa regularly moved and carried that the read- ing of the minutes and the regular order of busi- ness be suspended. It was regularly moved and carried that all bids BIDS OPENED AND PUBLICLY for the purohase of the $35,000 issue of Street DECLARED. Bonds be now opened,examined and publicly declared. Par 11 IT" 1420.00 " The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, AWARDING AND SELLING STREET WORK BONDS OF SAID CITY TO E. H. ROLLINS & SONS, AND PROVID- ING FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE SAME TO SAID PURCHASER. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. garried by the following vote: Ayes. Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. It was moved and carried that the City Clerk be authorized to issue certified copies of all pro- ceedings had to authorize the issue of $35,000.00 Street Work Bonds. The minutes of the meeting held December 3rd, 1923 were read and approved as read. RESOLUTION NO. 752 ADOPTED. CITY CLERK AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE CERTIFIED COPIES OF PROCEEDINGS AUTHORIZING BOND ISSUE. MINUTES READ. It was moved that the Water & Light Supt. be author- ized to purchase the following supplies: 10 5 Amp. 100 volt 2 wire meters W. & L. SUPT. AUTHORIZED 12 Radiant balls TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES. 12 2300 volt cut-out boxes Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees. Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. It was moved that the President and Clerk be author- ized to execute a contract between the City of Azusa and the Pacific Electric Railway Company covering the paving of 9th Street after the said contract has been approved by the City Attorney. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. It was moved that the matter of the purchase of a table and remodeling of the Revenue Collector's office be referred to Trustee Pierce with power to ' act. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes.
