The Board of Trustees of the City of nzusa
met in regular session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Trustees: Case, Beier, ,
Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney. �.bsent:
Trustees: Noon, Chenoweth.
Minutes of the meeting held January 7th, 1924
were read a8d approved as read.
It was moved that a tax refund of 411.04 be made TAX REFUND MADE TO
to J. S. Orndoff on account of erroneous assess- J. S. ORNDOFF.

Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Case,
Meier, Peirce. .Joes: None. Absent: Trustees: Idoon,
Chenoweth.
It was moved and carried that the request of Charles CHAS. STEIFVATER
Steifvater for permission to construct a galvanized GRANTED PERMISSION TO
iron dwelling on the rear of his property on the CONSTRUCT GALVANIZED
East side of nzusa Avenue, in Block 20 be granted. D'i1ELLING.
The request of Charles Rorabeck for permission to CHAS. RO.RABECK GRANTED
cut curb and construct driveway was granted to be PERMISSION TO CUT CURB

The following Ordinance was presented:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OE' TRUSTEES OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF
BARBARA AVENUE, LEMON AVENUE, ORANGE AVENUE, AND
LOUISE AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA.
It was moved that the Ordinance read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: Done. Absent.
None.
The Ordinance was read.
On motion duly carried the Ordinance was declared
read for the first time and laid over to next meeting.
It was moved that the President of the Board and the
City Clerk be authorized to sign the lease and option
to purchase the fire hall property as revised and
recommended by the City Attorney.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. 1.bsent:
None.
The following Ordinance was presented:
AIJ ORDINANCE CALLING A SP3CIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
IN THE CITY OF AZUSA COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, ON THE 18TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1924, AND
SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY THE
PROPOSITION OF INCURRING A BONDED DEBT IN THE SUM OF
FIFTY THOUSAND (050,000.00) DOLLARS FOR THE AC:IUISI-
TION, CONSTRUCTION, AND COMPLETIOD BY THE SAID CITY
OF AZUSA OF THE FOLLOWING I1UNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS, TO -
WIT; THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION, AND COMPLETION OF
STREET WORK_ UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA: PROVIDING FOR THE XXXXXX ISSUE OF BONDS THERE-
FOR AND FOR THE LEVY OF A TAY, FOR THE PAYMENT OF SAID
BONDS.
