HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 15220 RESOLUTION N0. t -Z1& A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ELENA AGUILAR AS POLICE WOMAN AND FIXING HER COMPENSATION. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: BE IT RESOLVED that Elena Aguilar shall be and the same is hereby designated and appointed Police Woman of the City of Azusa, commencing on and extending from May 1, 1937, and from that date thenceforth until further order of the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a stated compensation of $20.00 per month commencing on said May 1, 1937. Said Elena Aguilar shall hold said office of Police Woman at the pleasure of the City Council of the City of Azusa. Upon termination on any employment hereunder, whether by reason of death, action of the Council in declaring the position vacant or declaring the termination thereof, or by any reason whatsoever whether herein specifically mentioned or not, said Elena Aguilar shall be paid to the date of such termination only and not for any unexpired portion of the then calendar month, such payment for that month to be in that proportion of the employee's monthly compensation as the number of days which the employee has been employed in that month, bear to thirty days. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk attest and certify to the passage and adoption thereof. Approved and adopted this 19th day of April, 1937.
