Present at roll call: Trustees: Woon, Iueier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. City Clerk. Absent: City ,Attorney. The City Engineer presented the folloz:ing report. Azusa, California. January 28th, 1924. 'To..the Board of Trustees Of the City of Azusa, California. Gentlemen: Pursuant to your instructions to make an estimate of the cost of certain proposed Municipal Inprovements, I hereby estimate the cost of the same as follows. For,the acquisition, construction and completion of street work upon the public streets of the City of Azusa, specifically, portions of First Street, Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Sixth Street, Centre Street, ,Azusa ,zvenue, Cerritos Avenue and ,ngeleno Avenue, as well as all of Second Street, Third Street, Eighth Street , Ninth Street, Eleventh Street and Crescent Drive. I estimate the cost to be in the sum of Fifth Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars. Respectfully submitted, C. L.,dICHOLS, City Engineer. on motion duly carried the City En�ineer's report was adopted and ordered placed on file. The following :iesolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, COUNTY OF LOS NGELSS, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT THE i'UBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEIIAND THE ACQUISITION C014STRUCTION AI4D CO11PLETION BY SAID CITY OF THE FOLLOWING SIUNICIPAL IizIPROVEUENTS, TO -WIT: THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COIII'LETION OF STREET WORK UPON TiE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, SPECIFICALLY, PORTIONS OF FIRST STREET, FOURTH STREET, FIFTH STREET, SIXTH STREET, CENTRE STREET, AZUSA AVENUE, CERRITOS AVENUE AND ANGELENO AVENUE AS WEEL AS ALL OF SECOND STREET, THIRD STREET, EIGHTH STREET, NINTH STREET, ELEVENTH STREET, AIM CRESCENT DRIVE, THE COST OF WHICH WILL BE TOO GREAT TO BE PAID OUT OF THE ORDINARY ANNUAL IIICOIv9, AND REVENUE OF SAID CITY. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. :absent: None. The following Resolution was presented: 'A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA CALIFORIIA PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $1500 FROI:i THE GENERAL FUND TO THE WATER ITUND AND THE SUM OF $50.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE STREET WORK BOND FUND. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes ; none. Absent: None. 7:30 P.
