A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS
ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE SALARY OF SAMUEL C.
BIERBOWER AS CHIEF OF POLICE AND DEFINING HIS EMPLOYMENT.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
followss-
BE IT RESOLVED that the salary of SAMUEL C.
BIERBOWER as Chief of Police of the City of Azusa, Los
Angeles County, California, shall be and the same is here-
by established and fixed at the amount of 8175.00 per month
effective and commencing on November 1, 1936.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Samuel C.
Bierbower shall hold said office of Chief of Police at
the pleasure of the Council of the City of Azusa. Upon
the termination of any employment hereunder, whether by
reason of death, action of Council in declaring the
position vacant or deolarin* the termination thereof, or
by any reason whatsoever, said Samuel C. Bierbower shall
be paid to the date of such termination only and not for
any unexpired portion of the then calendar month, such
payment for that month to be in that proportion of the
employee's monthly compensation as the number of days
which the employee has been employed in that month, bears
to 30 days.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall
sign this Resolution and the Clerk shall attest the same
and certify to the passage and adoption thereof.

I HERESY CERTIFY that the foregoing
Resolution was regularly adopted by the City Council of
the City of Azusa at a regular meeting of said Council held
in the regular Council Chambers of said City Council on
October 5, 1936, and that the same was passed by the follow-
ing vote of the Council: -
