MUNSONO TAR COLLECTOR OF SAID CITY., FIXING THE AMOUNT OF HIS BOND AS SAID TAX COLLECTOR AND DEFINING HIS DUTIES. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:— BE IT RESOLVED That Thomas L. Munson shall be and the same is hereby designated and appointed Tax Collector of the City of Azusap commencing on and extending from August 1p 1936, and from that date thenceforth until further order of the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a stated compensation as such Tax Collector of $36.00 per month commencing on said August 1., 1936. Said Thomas L. Munson shall hold such office at the pleasure of said Council. Upon the termination of any employment hereunder whether by reason of death, action of the Council in declaring the position vacant or declaring the termina- tion thereof., or by any reason whatsoever., said Thomas L. Munson shall be paid to the date of such t'ermisiation only (and not for any unexpired portion of the then calendar month)p such payment for that period to be in that proportion of the employee's periodical com- pensation as the number of days which the employee has been Employed in that period 'bear to 30 days. BIS IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition precedent to taking office as Tax Collector of the City of Azusa August 10 1936., said Thomas L. Munson shall furnish bond in the sum of y25.,000.00 condi- tioned foi the faithful performance of his duties as Tax Collector of the City of Azusa and with the exception of such modifications as are necessary to make said bond applicable to his work as said Tax Collector, said Munson's bond shall be in terms as set forth in his bond as Treasurer of the City of Azusa which Treasurer's bond has heretofore been filed with the City Clerk. Said bond shall be sub- ject to the approval of the Clerk of the City of Azusa and shall be filed and remain with the City Clerk, Said Thomas L. Munson during the time he serves as Tax Collector of the City of Azusa shall at all times perform well and faithfully the duties of said office and shall be subject to any additional directions in that regard as are prescribed by the City Council of the City of Azusa. 1. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 or 1i BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the Clerk shall attest same and certify to the passage and adoption thereof.
