The Board of Trustees of the City of .zusa
met in regular session at the above time
and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees . Noon, Meier, Case,
Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney.
Absent: None.
The minutes of the meeting held February 11, 1924,
were read and approved as read.
It was moved and carried that the owner of Lot 10,
Block 39, be granted permission to construct a
'cement driveway into said lot; such work to be done
under the supervision of the Street Superintendent.
On motion duly carried the request of Chas. Beck for
permission to construct an addition to his filling
station was referred to the Public i/orks Committee
with power to act.
The following Resolution was presented.

AZUSA, CALIFORNIA <�PPROVING r.ND ADOPTING A MAP OF
PARAIAOUNT HEIGHTS'TRACT IN THE CITY OF AZUSA.
The Resolution was read.
On motion the Resolution was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees. Moon,
Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. ',Toes: None. .absent:
None. .
The following Resolution was presented:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE: CITY OF
AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING ''HE PLANS
AND SPECIFICATION: ,'OR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CEMENT
SIDEWALKS AND CURBS UPON BARBARA AVENUE, LEMON AVENUE,
ORANGE AVENUE, AND LOUISE AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA.
The Resolution was read.
On motion the Resolution was adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
:Beier, Case, Chenoweth, Peircet Noes: None. Absent:
None.

On motion duly carried permission was granted Benjamin B. KOPP GRANTED PER!
Kopp to set Black Accia trees in the parkway in front MISSION TO SET TREES
of his property on the West side of Lemon Avenue. IN PARKWAY.
It was moved that the City enter into a verbal con-
tract with McArthur Brothers for the grading of CITY TO ENTER VERBAL
Sixth Street from Louise Avenue to the Nest end of CONTRACT WITH MCARTHUR
Sixth Street. The City to do the work, the cost of BROTHERS.
same to be advanced by McArthur Brothers and to be
refunded to them by the City out of moneys received
from sale of bonds to be voted upon Debruary 25, 1924,
provided such bonds are voted and sold otherwise to
be repaid when money is available for such purpose.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. 1does: None. =absent:
None.
It was moved and carried when the Board adjourn it
,adjourn,to meet Tuesday February 26, 1924, at 7:30 P. L:.
It was moved that the President and Clark be author-
ized to execute a deed to be prepared by the City
Attorney covering all of Lots 26 and 27 and the easterly
375 feet of Lots 11 and 12 in Subdivision No. 2 Azusa
Land and ',Nater Company to the Title Insurance and 'frust
Company in accordance with the conttaat with F. S. Lack
with instructions to the City Attorney to use the same
in accordance with escrow instructions to be drawn to-
gether with said contract and the Trust agreement being
prepared.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon,
Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None.
