HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1446RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE APPOINThENT AND/OR E11PLOY1'ENT OF C. C. KMERELL AS A REGULAR POLICE OFFICER OF SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: Section 1. Effective as of Y CAY'LC'V% 14 , 1935, and subject to the provisions hereinafter stated and to any fur- ther action of this Council at any time, C. C. Kimbrell is trans- ferred from the Motorcycle Detail to duty as a regular police oa officer of said City at a salary or compensation of $ las per month. Said officer shall hold such office and/or employment at the pleasure of this Council. Upon the termination of the appoint- ment or employment hereunder, whether by reason of death, action of the Council in declaring the office or employment vacant or declaring the termination thereof, or for any reason whatsoever, such officer or employee shall be paid to the date of such termina- tion only (and not for any unexpired portion of the then calendar month) such payment to be at a per diem rate from and including the first day of the then calendar month in the proportion that thirty days bears to the salary or compensation for the office or employment so terminated.' Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption thereof. Passed, adopted and approved this 4th day of Larch, 1935.
