The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: 4"':_TERF.AS the City of Azusa, a municipal corporation in Los Angeles County, California, has heretofore entered into a written agreement with the Southern California Edison Comnanv, Ltd., a corporation, which agreement is dated October 11 1941, under the terms of which agreement it is provided that said Southern California Edison Company, Ltd., may, with the consent of the City of Azusa, furnish electrical energy within the City limits of said City upon certain conditions and reservations set forth in said agreement, and WFERENS tic said Southern California Edison Company, Ltd., a corporation, has now requested permission of the City of Azusa to furnish electrical energy to the Aerojet Engineering Corporation, a corporation whose puce of business is located within the limits of the said city, and ':dIIIsREAS the City of Azusa desires to grant to the Southern California Edison Company, Ltd., permission to furnish electrical energy to said corporation strictly under the terms end conditions as orovided for in the aCreement herein referred to and dated October 1, 1941; TIIERFFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa that permission be and is hereby given to the Southern California Edison. Company, Ltd., to furnish electrical ener'-y to the Aerojet Engineering Corporation Located within the boundaries of said City; this permission is viven however strictly upon the terms and conditions embodied in the aureement hereinbefore referred to dated October 1, 1941, namely that the City of Azusa has the ri;;lht and privilege of purchasing from the Southern California Edison Company, Ltd., the lines and equipment belongirg to said company which are located within the City of Azusa and by means of which said electrical ener7y is furnished, to the Aerojet Engineering Corporation, and that after the purchase of said lines and equipment the Southern California Rdison Company, Ltd., will cease furnishing said electrical enerE;y to the Aerojet Enrineerinj Corporation. ME IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution and the permission therein ^ranted to the Southern California Edison Company, Ltd., shall not he binding; or effective in favor of said Southern California Fdiscn 'on:any, Ltd., and a;sf.nst the City of Azusa until the Board of Directors of said company shall have by proper action anproved this Resolution and endorsed their aprroval upon- a cony of this Resolution, hearing; the seal of said corporation, and the same has been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of A2us1-.
