RESOLUTION 110. 1758
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA EXPRESSING APPRECIATI014 TO MAYOR VICTOR A.
Ol7ENS, FOR WORK CELL DONE.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Azusa
sincerely appreciates the splendid work which Victor A.
Owens did as Mayor of the City of Azusa during the past
year, and
VMEREAS the large amount of public improvements,
including the installation of the sewerage system in said
City during said year entailed a great deal of extra work
on the part of the 1..1ayor, all of which was done in a most
efficient and satisfactory manner, and
WHEREAS said Vlotor A. Owens has expressed a
desire to be relieved of the duties of Mayor and the res-
ponsibility of the office in the future:
11017 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Azusa that it does hereby express
Its sincere appreciation and deep gratitude to Victor A.
Ovens for the efficient manner In which he attended to
the duties of I:layor and for the splendid 1,,rork which was
accomplished during his regime thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this
Resolution be spree.d upon the Council Minutes as a permanent
record in our City.
