A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, EMPLOYING FRANK POETKER
AS LINEMAN FOR THE -CITY OF A ZUSA AND FIXING HIS SALARY
OR COMPENSATION.
The City Council of the City -of Azusa does resolve
as follows:
BE IT RESOLVED that FRANK,POETKER be and the same is
hereby appointed Lineman in the City of Azusa and his
salary is hereby fixed as $150.00 per month beginning
January 1, 1942.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms of employment
and compensation of Frank Poetker shall be subject to
further action of Council at any time, and that he shall
hold this position at the pleasure ofCouncil. Upon the
termination of his employment whether -by reason of death,
action of the Council in declaring the position vacant, or
declaring the termination thereof, or by any reason whatso
ever whether herein specifically mentioned or not, said
employee shall be paid`to the date of such termination only
and not for any unexpired portion of the then calendar month,
such payment for' -that month to be in that proportion of the
employeets monthly compensation as the number of days which
the employee has served in that month bears to thirty days.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this
resolution and the City Clerk shall attest same and certify
to the passage and adoption thereof'.

I DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing
Resolution was regularly adopted by .the City
Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meet-
ing of the said Council held in the regular
Council Chambers of said City Council in said
City on Januar 5 1942, and that the
same was passed by the following vote of the
Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Jumper, Bradshaw, Arnold, Owens.
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: Malone
