HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1728RESOLUTION NO. 1728 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING ITS FIRE STATION AS A MOBILIZATION POINT FOR EMERGENCY FIRE CREWS AND AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO ASSIST IN MAINTAINING COMMUNICATION LINES IN TIMES OF FOREST FIRE EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors•of Los Angeles County, California, have heretofore requested the City of Azusa to permit its -fire station to be used as a mobilization point for emergency fire crews assembled .for the purpose of fighting forest fires and have also requested that the Police Department be authorized to assist in maintaining communi- cation lines in time of forest fire emergency; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Azusa that the fire station in said City may be used as a mobilization point for emergency fire crews and that the Police Department of said City be and it is hereby authorized to assist in maintaining communication lines in times of such emergency. ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 1941.
