Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney. Absent: None. The minutes of the meeting held 11arch 7th were read and approved as read. 7:30 P. M. 307 On motion duly carried the application of the APPLICATION OF THE INDE- 'Independent Mexican Union for permission to give PENDENT MEXICAN UNION festivals and entertainments was referred to the REFERRED TO SANITARY AND Sanitary and Police Committee to report at next POLICE COMMITTEE. meeting. On motion the matter of a Boy Scouts Auxilary MATTER OF BOY SCOUTS AUX- Fire Dept. was referred to the Sanitary and ILARY FIRE DEPT. REFERRED Police Committee in conjunction with Fire Chief TO SANITARY AND POLICE H1bach to report at next meeting. COMMITTEE IN CONJUNCTION WITH FIRE CHIEF HIBSCH. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AND ADOPT- ING A MAP OF TRACT NO. 8506 IN THE CITY OF AZUSA. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. The Light and Water Supt. authorized to purchase the following supplies: 2 coils #8 wire ' 24 rolls of P & B Tape 36 3/4 inch service cocks 2 Bundles of 3/4 inch galv pipe 1 1, tl 1 it 10 5/8 water meters. Carried by the following vote: Ayes- Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. The following Resolution was presented. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, CREATING THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT REVENUE COLLi:CTO:t AND APPOINTING DORIS FARREN TO THAT OFFICE AND FIXING HER SALARY OR COMPENSATION. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. RESOLUTION NO. 770 ADOPTED. LIGHT -ND "TATER SUPT. AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES. RESOLUTION NO. 771 ADOPTED. On motion duly carried the City Clerk was granted 308 MINUTES OF MEEETING HELD APRIL 7th, 1924 a vacation of four days commencing April 8th, 1924. On motion Mr. Barker, Consulting Engineer was instructed to make a report on the matter of a reduction of the Light and Power rates. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: Mone. Absent: None. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and earrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same. 7:30 P. 1.1. 309 CITY CLERK GRANTED ,VACATION. CONSULTING ENGINEER TO MAKE REPORT.
