HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1927RESOLUTION NUMBER 1927 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING EARL P. WOOLERY TO THE POSITION OF PATROLMAN AND FIXING HIS SALARY. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Azusa, Los Angeles County, California, that Earl P. Woolery be and he is hereby appointed and employed to act as patrol- man on the police force of said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary of said Earl P. Woolery as such patrolman be fixed at a rate of $180.00 per month beginning December 1, 1945 and that his salary be increased $5.00 as follows: on March 1, 1946; and $5.00 on June 1, 1946; $5.00 on September 1, 1946 and another $5.00 on December 1, 1946. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Earl P. Woolery is to serve as patrolman on the police department of the City of Azusa at and during the pleasure of the Council and that if for any reason said services are dispensed with, said officer shall receive his pay only for the proportionate part of the month for which he has served at the time of his release.
