M. 337 9 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa ipet in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: -Trustees: Moon, Meier, C ase,Cheno_weth, Peirce, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: None. The minutes of the regular meeting held May 19th, 1924 were read and approved as read. On motion duly carried the request of Elisa ELISA RITTENHOUSE GRANTE Rittenhouse for permission to construct H PERMISSION TO CONSTRUCT driveway into her premises on Alameda Avenue DRIVEWAY. was granted such work to be done under the supervision of the Street Superintendent. It was moved that the Motor Officer, Ernest MOTOR OV2?ICLR AUTHOR-. Maeding be authorized to purchase a half barrel IZED TO PURCHASE A of white paint for street marking. HALF BARREL OF WHITE Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: PAINT FOR STREET MARK - Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. ING. Absent: None.' Knight for $$12.50 for return of WARRANT ORDERED DRAWN taxes paid on filling station. Such tax having IN FAVOR OF GEO. W. also been paid by the .Standard 011 Company. KNIGHT FOR $12.50. The Water and Light Superintendent was authorized to purchase the following supplies: 50 concrete meter boxes SUPT. WATER AND LIGHT 10 9/8 water meters AUTHORIZED TO PUR- 1 2# compound meter CHASE SUPPLIES. Pipe fittings 1# - 3/4# and 4#. 100 2300 volt dead ends Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. The Building Inspector reported the flag pole at MATTER OF CONDITION OF the corner of Azusa Avenue and Center Street to FLAG POLE AT THE CORNER be in bad condition and recommends its removal OF AZUSA AVENUE AND its removal and on motion the matter was referred CENTER STREET REFERRED to the Building Inspector with power to act. M. 339 It was moved that the matter of repairs and resurfacing of gas and water ditches across highways be referred to the Public Works Committee wth power to act. MATTER OF REPAIR AND RE- SURFACING OF GAS AND WATER DITCHES REFERRED TO P. W. C. WITH POWER TO ACT. 'The following Ordinance was presented: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ESTABLISHING THE RATES FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE FOR SAID CITY FOR: (1) DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL LIGHTING RATE: (2) COMBINED LIGHTING, HEATING AND COOKING RATE: (3) GENERAL POWER RATE, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $1500.00 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE WATER FUND. The Resolution was read. On motion the.same was adopted. arried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None.
