RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF
AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING TIME PAYPrIENT
BID, QUITCLAIM DEED ONLY, TO CITY OMTED
REAL PROPERTY.
THAT WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is desirous of selling certain
parcels of real property heretofore acquired by the City by virtue
of tax deeds, in order that the said properties be restored to the
tax rolls, and
WHEREAS, the Cityt s notice of intention to sell said properties,
designated as "Notice No. C'ne of Intention to Sell City of Azusa
Owned Real Property and Inviting Bids or Offers Therefor.", has
heretofore been duly published, and
WHERE4S, TONY CONTRERAS
did heretofore, pursuant to said published notice of intention to
sell, file his written bid with the City Clerk of the City of
Azusa to purchase by quitclaim deed and on a time payment basis
the real property hereinafter described, which bid was by the
City Council, at its meeting held on the 15 day of January
1945, publicly opened and declared, and
WHEREAS; said offer to purchase was made upon the following
terms and conditions:
Six monthly payments Differed payments to bear 7% interest
AND VoHER1--f.S, it is the opinion of this Council that it would
be to the best interest of' the City of Azusa to accept said bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS Hfr.3BY RFSOLVED AS FOLLOVS:
Section 1: That the offer of Tony Contreras
to purchase from the City of Azusa, upon the terms and conditions
as set out in said offer and as above set forth, that certain real
property situated within the City and described as follows:
Lot 33 Clifton J. Platt's Orange Land Tract
be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2: That the Il:ayor of the City of Azusa is hereby
authorized and instructed to execute, in the name of the City and on
its behalf, an Agreement of Sale and Purchase to said above described
real property, said Agreement of Sale and Purchase to contain the
provisions in respect to payments and terms of said sale as above set
forth and further to contain the provisions included in the usual form
of Agreement of Sale and Purchase as printed by the title companies
of Los Angeles County, and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to attest the Agreement of Sale and Purchase and to
affix the corporate seal thc.rc.�n.

Section 3: That upon the completion of the terms of said
Agreement to Purchase and notification by the City Clerk that the
contract payments have been completed, the said Mayor and City
Clerk arc hereby further authorized and instructed to execute,
attest, seal and deliver to said purehascr a quitclaim deed of
said parcels of real property.

I, M. A. Hynes, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council of the City of Azusa, signed by the iatayor and attested
by the City Clerk at a regular ______meeting thereof, held on
the 15th day of Jannary , 1945 -
That said resolution was adopted by the following vote, to wit:
