The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above time and
place.
Present -at roll call: Trustees: Meier, Case,
Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk and City
Attorney. Absent. Trustee: Moon.
The Minutes of the;,meeting held July 7th, 1924
were read and approved as read.
On motion duly carried the application of Ed
Shannon for a pool and billiard license was
laid over to next meeting.

APPLICATION OF ED SHANNON
LAID OVER TO NEXT MEETING.
It was moved and carried that the requests of E. J. GRAHAIT & FIRST NATIONAL
E. J. Graham and the First National Bank for BLITY GRANTED PERMISSION TO

It was moved that the requests of Vosburg
Brothers and the First National Bank for the
cementing of small portion of the parkway at
the southwest and northeast corners of Azusa
Avenue and. Center Streets be granted.

REQUEST OF VOSBURG BROTHERS
AND FIRST NATIONAL BANS
GRANTED.
On motion duly carried the request of C. H. C. H. HOWARD GRANTED PER -
Howard for permission to construct a driveway MISSION TO CONSTRUCT DRIVE -
into Lot 5, Block 39 was granted. Such work WAY .
to be done under the supervision of the Street
Superintendent.
On motion duly carried the request of W. I.
Hamblin for a two weeks vacation commencing
August 1, 1924 was granted.
Trustee Moon now present.
It was moved and carried that when the Board
adjourn it adjourn to meet July 31, 1924 at
8:30 P. I:i.
It was moved that the City Attorney be request-
ed to draft an amendment to the License Ordin-
ance permitting the operating of moving pic-
ture theatres on Sunday.

Absent: None.
It was moved that the 'Tdater & Light superinten-
dent be authorized to purchase the following
supplies:
20 5 amp 110 volt light meters
' 200 110 - 220 volt service dead ends
1 coil #6 W. P. wire
10 5/8 water meters
'50, concrete water meter boxes.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees:

for the same.
