CALIFS HNIA FLEETWOOO 4-1204 0 RESOLUTION NO. 3104 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RELATIVE TO PLANTING TREES ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LOUISE AVENUE AND SETTING FORTH THE REASON THEREFOR. WHEREAS some years ago certain trees were planted on the south side of Louise Avenue under proceedings instituted by the City Council under the 1911 Improvement Act; and WHEREAS, said trees were at said time planted too close to the property line; and WHEREAS, it now becomes necessary that said trees be removed by reason of improvements which are now being made along said street; and WHEREAS, the City Council feels that it is fair and right that the City should replace said trees, because the original planting was not properly done: THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: That the Superintendent of Public Works of the City of Azusa is hereby authorized and directed to replace trees which have been removed as hereinbefore set forth and that the cost of replanting and replacing of said trees be born by the City of Azusa. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk attest the same and certify to the Passage and adoption thereof, Mayor of the City of Azusa ATTEST: City Clerk of the City of Azusa Passed, approved. and adopted this*th day of October, 1954.
