M. 417 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce, Moon, City Clerk and City Attorney. Absent: None. The minutes of the meeting held November 3rd, 1924 were read and approved as read. An invitation was received from Rev. H. Robert Smith for the Board and City Employees to 'attend services at the Baptist Church Sunday morning, Nov. 23rd at 11:00 A. M. On motion duly carried the same was accepted and the City Clerk instructed to notify all em- ployees. It was moved that the Water and Light Supt., be authorized to purchase the following supplies. 20 5 Amp. light meters 10 5/8 Water meters 1 Coil.7/32 Loom Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. City Attorney Goodwin reported that on request of the Board of Trustees he had made a special trip to Azusa to prosecute the case of Pao vs Hobart Johnson on Nov. 21st and had secured a conviction. It was moved that the report of the Public Works Committee relative to the construction of culverts on Santa Fe Avenue and the repair 'of bridge at let and Cerritos be approved and the work ordered done. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chemweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: Ilona. It was moved that the City Engineer's report relative to the improvement of Azusa Ave nue between 4th and 5th Street be approved and that he be instructed to proceed with such work and that the Light Supt. be instructed to make an estimate of the cost of moving light posts. Carried by the following vote: Ayes. Trustees: Moon, Me1er,Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. It was regularly moved and carried that the President of the Board appoint a purchasing committee. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF $1700.00 FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Che mweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CERTAIN STREET WORK TO BE DONE ON NINTH STREET. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case,Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. INVITATION OF REV. H. ROBERT SMITH ACCEPTED AND CITY CLERK INSTRUCTED TO NOTIFY ALL EMPLOYEES. WATER & LIGHT SUPT. AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES. CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS THAT HE PROSECUTED THE CASE OF PEO VS HOBART JOHNSON AND SECURED A CON- VICTION. REPORT OF PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE APPROVED AND CERTAIN WORK ORDERED DONE. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT RELATIVE TO AZUSA AVENUE BETWEEN 4th & 5th ST. APPROVED & HE IS INSTRUCTED TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK. LIGHT SUPT. TO MAKE ESTIMAT, OF COST OF MOVING LIGHT POLES. PRES. OF BOARD TO APPOINT PURCHASING COMMITTEE. RESOLUTION NO. 803 ADOPTED. RESOLUTION NO. 804 ADOPTED. 418 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD November 17th, 1924. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING A MAP OF TRACT NO. 7673 IN THE CITY OF AZUSA. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: -None. It was moved that the following bills be allow - 7:30 P. M. 4.19 RESOLUTION NO. 805 ADOPTED.
