Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, City Clerk, City Attorney. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. The minutes of the meetings held December let and bth were read and approved as read. 7:30 P. It was moved that the matter of purchase of a check writer was referred to the Finance Committee with power to act. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. The following Ordinance was presented: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA. CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING THE DEPOSIT OR DIS- CHARGING INTO, ANY CESS POOL, PUBLIC SEWER, DRAIN OR CATCH BASIN OF ANY WATER, SEWAGE OR LIQUID 'HASTE OF ANY KIND CONTAINING OIL, GREASE OR OTHER LIKE INGRED- IENTS UNLESS SAME SHALL BE TRAPPED AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE SAME. The Ordinance was read. It was moved that the Ordinance be declared read for the first time and laid over to next meeting. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Che m weth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: 'Peirce. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, DECLARING THE OFFICE OF TAX COLLECTOR VACANT AND APPOIIITING W. J. HOLDEN TO THAT OFFICE AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR C010ENSATION. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Che m weth. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Peirce. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for MATTER OF PURCHASE OF CHECK WRITER REFERRED TO FINANCE COMMITTEE. ORDINANCE READ.
