EI45 7 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce, City Clerk and City Attorney. Absent: Trustee: Moon. The minutes of the meeting held February 4nd, 192b were read and approved as read. The request or Doris Farren for an increase in REQUEST OF DORIS FARREN salary was referred to the Committee of the Whole. REFERRED TO COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE. ' Trustee Moon now present. Letters were read from the Paramount Motors Corp., LETTERS FROM PARAMOUNT and L. W. Coffee relative to the matter of light MOTORS CORP. & L. W. COFFEE and power services on the Paramount Heights Tract READ AND LAID OVER TO NEXT and on motion duly carried the same were laid over h!EETING. to next meeting. It was moved that when the Board adjourn it ad- journ to meet Thursday, February 19, 1925 at 7:30 BOARD TO MEET 2-19-'25 at P. M. and that the City Clerk be instructed to 7:30 P. M. notify the City Attorney. The application of S. Winokur for permission to S. WINOXUR GRANTED PER - construct a driveway into his premises was grant- MISSION TO CONSTRUCT ed; the work to be done under the supervision of DRIVEWAY. the Street Superintendent. J. represent the City at the Colorado River Aqueduct PIERCE APPOINTED TO RE- Ass'n., meeting at St. Ann's Inn, Santa Ana, Calif. PRESENT CITY AT COLORADO at 10:00 A. M., Saturday February 21st, 1925. RIVER AQUEDUCT ASSN. MEETING. 'A petition protesting against the removal of a pepper tree at the Santa Fe Depot was received and PETITION FILED. on motion duly carried was filed for future reference. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CREATING THE OFFICE OF CITY LINEMAN AND APPOINTING WALTER CHENOWETH TO THAT OFFICE AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR COMPENSATION. The resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes. None. Absent: None. The following Resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, DECLARING THE OFFICE OF STREET SUPERIN- TENDENT VACANT AND APPOINTING J. E. LEE TO THAT OFFICE AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR COMPENSATION. The resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Case, Chenoweth, Peirce. Noes: None. Absent: None. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
