A RESOLUTION OF TIME CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA , GRANTING A VARIANCE
FROM C-1 TO C-3 OF THE PROPERTY OF AZUSA PROPERTIES,
INC., LOCATED AT 626 EAST 8TH STREET, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING A PET SHOP.
WHEREAS, San Gabriel Projects Incorporated has filed
its petition requesting a Variance changing the present
zoning of Lot 86 of Azusa Land and Water Company, Subdivision
2, as recorded in Book 43 Page 94 of Miscellaneous Records
in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
situated at 626 East 8th Street, from C-1 to C-3 for the
purpose of operating a Pet Shop, selling birds and fish
and such other projects that go with that business, said
business to be located at 626 East 8th Street in said lot
86, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has held the
necessary hearings on said petition and has recommended to
the City Council that the petition be granted in a limited
way to authorize said business at 626 East 8th Street, and
only while said business is conducted thereon,
THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL DOES RESOLVE, that the petitioner
be granted a limited variance only for the period of time as
said location at 626 E. 8th Street is used for the business of
conducting the business of operating a Pet Shop and only while
the petitioner remains the owner of the property now known as
626 E. 8th Street.

Passed, approved and adopted this 16th day of May, 1955.

duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of
the City of Azusa at a regular
meeting of said Council of said City held in the
regular council chambers of said City Council in
said City.
