HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1090 • RESOLUTION NO. 109 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT THE PROVISION OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING OUTSIDE THE AZUSA WEST END REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA IS OF BENEFIT TO THE PROJECT AREA WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa, pursuant to Section 33334.2(g) of the California Health and Safety Code, must include property within the Project Area which is suitable for low and moderate income housing or find that the provision of low and moderate income outside the Project Area would be of benefit to the Project Area; and WHEREAS, the purpose of the Redevelopment Plan for Azusa West End Redevelopment Project is to eliminate blight and promote redevelopment activities for the establishment of new residential uses; and WHEREAS, the provision of low and moderate income housing outside the Amended Project Area will be of benefit to low or moderate income persons or families residing in the City; NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa finds and declares that the provision of low and moderate income housing outside the Azusa West End Redevelopment Project Area is of benefit to the Project Area. SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Agency shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October, 1983. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of October, 1983, by the following vote of the Agency: AYES: DIRECTORS CRUZ, LATTA, MOSES NOES: DIRECTORS: NONE ABSENT: DIRECTORS: NONE Y
