The Board of Trustees of the City
of Azusa met in regular adjourned
session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees:
Pierce, Moon, Meier, Chenoweth,
Case, City Attorney. Absent: City
Clerk.
It was moved and carried that Morgan
J. Pierce be appointed City Clerk,
Pro -Tem, to act during the meeting
in the absence of J. 0. Durrell, City
Clerk.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes:
Trustees: Peirce, Moon, Meier, Cheno-
weth, Case. Noes: None. Absent: None.
Trustee Meier presented the Following
Ordinance:
AN ORDINATdCE OF TIM BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE.CITY OF AZUSA, REGULATING THE
COLLECTION, REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF
GARBAGE AND PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY ,
FOR THE VIOLATION. THEREOF.
The Ordinance was read.
It was moved that the Ordinance be de-
clared read for the first time and laid
over to next meeting.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes:
Trustees: Peirce, Moon, Meier, Cheno-
weth, Case. Noes: None. Absent: None.

ORDINANCE READ.
It was moved that the President of the
Board and the City Clerk be authorized
to enter into a contract with P. M. Russell
for the collection of garbage, as present-
ed by the City Attorney.
