HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 1930 0 RESOLUTION NO. 193 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF THE BOUNDARY MAP AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR AMENDMENT NO. VI OF THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT PLAN TO THE STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION, THE AUDITOR, ASSESSOR AND TAX COLLECTOR OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, AND THE OTHER AFFECTED TAXING AGENCIES WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33322 of the California Health and Safety Code, the Redevelopment Agency may direct the Planning Commission to select a project area and to prepare the Preliminary Plan for the Azusa Central Business District Redevelopment Project Amendment No. VI; and WHEREAS, Section 33328 requires the transmittal of certain documents to the State Board of Equalization, and the Auditor, Assessor, Tax Collector of Los Angeles County, and other affected taxing entities. NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That the Redevelopment Agency hereby acknowledges receipt of the legal description and boundary map for the Central Business District Redevelopment Project Amendment No. VI. SECTION 2. That the Redevelopment Agency hereby directs the Planning Commission to prepare the preliminary plan and the Executive Director to transmit the following to the State Board of Equalization, the Auditor, Assessor and Tax Collector of Los Angeles County, and the other affected taxing entities. SUBSECTION A. A description of the boundaries of the Azusa CBD Redevelopment Project Amendment No. VI. SUBSECTION B. A statement that a Plan for Redevelopment of the Project Area is being prepared. SUBSECTION C. A map indicating the boundaries of the Azusa CBD Redevelopment Project Amendment No. VI. SUBSECTION D. A statement indicating the last equalized assessment roll to be used for tax allocation purposes. SECTION 3. The Secretary of the Agency shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1985. VI TO THE AZUSA CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA BOUNDARY That certain real property in the City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 35, of the Map of Azusa, as shown on map recorded in Book 15, pages 93 to 96, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, said corner also being the southeast corner of the intersection of Foothill Boulevard, 100.00 feet wide, with Alameda Avenue, 100.00 feet wide, and a point on the easterly boundary of Area 1 of the Azusa Central Business District Redevelopment Project Area as described in document recorded September 19, 1978, as instrument number 78-1039951, in the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence northerly and northeasterly along last said easterly boundary, through its various courses, to the northeast corner of Lot 22, Block 18, of said Map of Azusa, said northeast corner also being a point on the southeasterly line of Santa Fe Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, distant thereon northeasterly 160.04, feet more or less, from the southeast corner of the intersection of said Santa Fe Avenue and Dalton Avenue 80.00 feet wide; thence southerly along the easterly line of lots 22, 23, and 24 of said Block 18, and the easterly line of lots 12, 13, 14, and 15, all in Block 31, of said Map of Azusa, 471.74 feet more or less, to the southeast corner of last said lot 15; thence westerly along the southerly line of said lot 15, 150.00 feet, to the easterly line of Dalton Avenue, 80.00 feet wide; thence southerly along said easterly line of Dalton Avenue, 500.00 feet, to the northwest corner of lot 6, block 34, of said map of Azusa, said corner also being the southeasterly corner of the intersection of said Dalton Avenue and Foothill Boulevard, 100.00 feet wide; thence westerly along the southerly line of said Foothill Boulevard, 380.00 feet, to the point of beginning.
