The Board of Trustees of the
City of Azusa met in regular
'session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Trustees:
Moon, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce,.
Durrell, City Clerk and City
Attorney. Absent: None.
The minutes of the regular meet-
ing held June 15th and of the
Special meeting held June 26th,
1925 were read and approved as
read.
It was moved that all bids on
the improvement of Ninth Street
be now opened, examined and
publicly declared.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees: Moon, Meier,
Chenoweth, Peirce, Durrell.
Noes: None. Absent: None.

It was moved that the
request of Mr. Winger
for water service and
connection be granted
conditional upon Mr.
Winger advancing the
costs of connection,
labor, material and
meter to the City of
Azusa; the work to be
done by the Water Supt,
on same meter charges as
other outside users and
that Mr. Winger sign,upon
presentation to him a con-
tract to be prepared by the
City Attorney in the usual
form.

It was moved that the matter
of the purchase of an addresso-
graph be referred to the Fin-
ance Committee with power -to
act.

It was moved that the request
of the Fire Dept. for the
furnishing of lumber and
material for the construc-
tion of a club room in the
fire -house be granted, the
cost not to exceed $100.00

The following Ordinance was
presented:

REGULATING THE CONDUCT OR
PEDDLERS OR ITINERANT DEALERS
IN THE PUBLIC STREETS OF SAID
CITY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.

A petition for improvements
in Paramount Heights was pre-
sented and referred to the
City Engineer for checking
and report at next meeting.
It was moved that Mr. Barker
be authorized to dispose of
the City -Transformers -now
leased by the Southern
California Edison Company
and .to arrange for the sett-
ing -of new,tranaformers by
the Edison Company and.make
such changes in the City
sub -=station as may be nec-
essary.

The City Engineer present-
ed the following report
which was approved and
placed on file.

lowest responsible bidder
is Mr. J. Allen Munro of
Monrovia, California, with
the bid of $.47� for curb
and 1 for sidewalk;
