The new automotive dealership will remove 28 dwelling units
from the low and moderate -income housing market. The Relco
Investments Company and the Pacific Glen Apartments project
will replace those low and moderate -income units.
The number of replacement dwelling units available exceeds
the umber of units to be taken from the market by the
proposed automotive dealership. Concentrated efforts on the
behalf of the City in the Relco Project will result in
timely construction of the units and subsequent placement
of low and moderate -income households. The Redevelopment
Agency will assume an active role to ensure the completion
of all such projects.
