HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4756 RESOLUTION NO. 475 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZIISA APPROVING AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT ENTITLED, "OWNER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE AZIISA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND AEROJET ELECTRO SYSTEMS COMPANY" The Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa resolves as follows: SECTION 1. On June 2, 1986 the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 272 approving an Owner Participation Agreement between the Azusa Redevelopment Agency and Aerojet Electro Systems Company. SECTION 2. The Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa hereby finds that the Amendment Number One to the Owner Participation Agreement by and between the Azusa Redevelopment Agency and Aerojet Electro Systems Company will contribute to the accomplishment of the Agency's goals in the West End Redevelopment Project Area and the goal of redeveloping the Site and hereby incorporates by reference the changes set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto. SECTION 3. The Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa hereby approves the Amendment Number One to the Owner Participation Agreement by and between the Azusa Redevelopment Agency and Aerojet Electro Systems Company and authorizes the Chairman of the Board of Directors to execute said amended Agreement on behalf of the Agency in substantially the form as attached hereto as Exhibit "A". SECTION 4. The Secretary shall certify the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the Agreement to be recorded promptly upon its execution by all parties thereto. Foothill Blvd. Azusa, CA 91702 AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO THE OWNER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT DATED JUNE 2, 1986 BY AND BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AND AEROJET ELECTRO SYSTEMS COMPANY This Amendment Number One to the Owner Participation Agreement is made by and between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa (hereinafter "Agency") and Aerojet Electro Systems Company (hereinafter "Participant"), and is dated as of July 5, 1988. For and in consideration of the promises and of the mutual covenants and agreements herein contained, the Parties hereto agree as follows: 1. Section II.B. Signs of Exhibit No. 2 to the OPA shall be amended to read: Signs shall be limited in size, subdued and otherwise designed to contribute positively to the environment. Signs identifying the building use will be permitted but their height, size, location, color, lighting and design shall conform to the Azusa Municipal Code. No animated signs or signs--extend#ng--above-the-roe€--parapet are allowed. A mounted roof sign will only be permitted on the building wall facing Interstate 210. The height, size, location, color, lighting and design of the mounted roof sign shall be subject to Agency approval. "sae€ oe e 2. All other terms and conditions of the OPA shall remain in full force and effect. 3.
