HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 474RESOLUTION NO. 474 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REGARDING THE SALARIES AND BENEFITS OF ITS NON -REPRESENTED AND MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES, ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1988 THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Whereas, the non -represented and management employees of the Redevelopment Agency are not covered by a meet - and -confer process; and SECTION 2. Whereas, the salary, stipend, and compensation for elected and appointed officials of the Redevelopment Agency should be codified for administrative purposes; and SECTION 3. Whereas, represented classified employees of the City of Azusa have been authorized to receive certain adjustments in their salaries and benefits for the 1988-89 fiscal year; and SECTION 4. Whereas, it is appropriate at this time to adjust the salaries and benefits of Agency employees. SECTION 5. Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa does hereby grant certain salaries and benefits adjustments to its employees as enumerated in Exhibits "A", "B", and "C" attached hereto. SECTION 5. The Redevelopment Agency Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of July, 1988 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of July, 1988, by the following vote of the Board: AYES: DIRECTORS: AVILA, STEMRICH, NARANJO, LATTA, MOSES NOES: DIRECTORS: NONE Z T: DIR CTORS: NONE SECRET 9 0 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF AZUSA EXECUTIVE AND MIDDLE MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES SALARY AND BENEFITS JULY 1, 1988 (Exhibit A) EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATION MONTHLY SALARY Director of Redevelopment $4,631 MIDDLE MANAGEMENT Redevelopment Manager $3,619 BENEFITS The employee benefits for these classifications shall generally be those defined for executive management/middle management employees in the resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa pertaining to their salary and benefits for the 1988-89 year, and any amendment(s) thereto during the course of that fiscal year. CAR ALLOWANCE Employee occupying the position of Director of Redevelopment is is eligible for a car allowance of two -hundred eighty-eight dollars ($288) per month. Employee occupying the position of Redevelopment Manager on June 30, 1988, and as long as he/she is employed in this classi- fication, shall receive the sum of one -hundred seventy-three dollars ($173) per month as base pay, in addition to the amount listed above, in lieu of a car allowance. All of the above notwithstanding, City business trips of fifty (50) miles or more, round-trip, may be made in a City vehicle at City expense or may be claimed for mileage reimbursement if employee uses his or her own transportation, pursuant to the City's travel and meetings policy. U NON -REPRESENTED CLASSIFICATION 0 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF AZUSA SALARIES AND BENEFITS NON -CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES JULY 1, 1988 (Exhibit B) Administrative Analyst Economic Development Analyst Project Analyst Administrative Secretary Secretary Case Management Specialist BENEFITS SALARY MONTHLY RANGE 1st & 5th STEP 185 $2186.98 - 2658.30 216 $2977.19 - 3618.79 216 $2977.19 - 3618.79 169 $1865.10 - 2267.04 158 $1671.75 - 2032.03 flat rate $12.00 per hour The Redevelopment Agency non -represented non -classified employees whose classifications are listed above shall have the same employee benefits as generally described in the Memorandum of Understanding for the 1988-89 year between the City of Azusa and the Azusa City Employees Association (ACEA). CAR ALLOWANCE The individuals who occupy the the classifications of Economic Development Analyst and Project Analyst may receive the sum of one hundred dollars ($100) as monthly base pay, in addition to the amount listed above, in lieu of car allowance, based on department and administrative approval. The individual who on June 30, 1988, occupies the classification of Economic Development Analyst, and as long as he/she is employed in this classification, shall receive the sum of one hundred dollars ($100) as monthly base pay, in addition to the amount listed above, in lieu of car allowance.
