Present at roll call: Trustees: Meier, Durrell, Chenoweth, City Attorney, Deputy Cipy Clerk Smith. Absent: Trustees Moon, Pierde and City Clerk. The minutes of the regular meet- ing held November 2, 1925 were read and approved as read. It was moved that the City C+erk be instructed to write a letter to Mrs McXim telling her to file an affidavit regarding her claim for $1000.00 valuation exemp- tion. Communications were then read from the Association of City Planners and C.arti Detective Agency and ordered placed on file. Communication from the Automo- bile Club of Southern Califor- nia regarding the proposed un- iform Traffic Ordinance was read, and referred to the Sanitary and Police Committee to report at next meeting. It was moved 6hd carried that the proper officials be author- ized to purchase a Burroughs Bookkeeping Machine at a price not to,exceed $1500.00 without interest. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Meier, Durrell Chenoweth. Noes: (done: Absent: Trustees Pierce, Moon. It was moved that the Street Superintendent be authorized to make application for a Bond of y2500.00 at the expense of the City. It was moved thatthe Street Superintendent be authorized to cover the culvert on First Street and Cerritos with a concrete slab. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Meier, Chenoweth, Durrell. Noes: None. Absent: Hoon, Pierce. It was moved that the Street Superintendent be authorized to purchase five tons of hay. Carried by the Tollowing vote: Ayes: Trustees: I.Ieier, Chenoweth, Durrell. Noes: hone. Absent: Idoon, Pierce. The matter of improving the alleys between Azusa Ave. and San Gabriel Ave.; between Azusa Ave. and Alameda Street, was referred to the Public Works Committee. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants order- ed drawn upon the 'Treasury for.the same. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Meier, Chenoweth, Darrell.
