The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular adjourned session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Durrell, moon, Chenoweth, Pierce and City Clerk. Absent: Meier and City Attorney. The minutes of -regular meeting held November 16,.1925 were read and approved as read. It was moved that the City Clerk be authorized to draw a warrant in favor of H. G. Halloway for $21.50 refund of tax paid on improvements assessed erroneously against Lot 3, Block "I", Azusa Heights Tract. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon. Chenoweth, Pierce, Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: I,ieier: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPOINTING H. ROBERT SWITH TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY, AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR COIIPENSATION. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopt- ed as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon, Chenoweth, Pierce, Noes: hone. Absent: Trustee: I•,Ieier. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING THE OFFICE OF DEPUTY REVENUE COLL30TOR VACANT AND APPOINTING LAURA GOULBY TO THAT OFFICE. A14D FIXING HER SALARY OR C OI.SPENSAT ION. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopt- ed as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Boon, Chenoweth, Pierce, Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Meier. It was moved that Mr. H. Robert Smith be employed as janitor at a salary of $20.00 per month, commencing December 1, 1925. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon, Chenoweth, Pierce, Noes: None. Richter's request for permission to con- struct an electric sign in front of his Drug Store be granted. It. was moved that the Auditing' and Finance Committee be authorized to purchase all necessary supplies for the new billing machine and such extra help as may be necessary during the installation of the new system. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Noon, Chenoweth, Pierce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Meier. It was moved that the matter of the construction of a cement wall and tool shed at the Slauson I.Iemorial Plunge be referred to the Public Works Committee with power to act. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, i,Ioon, Chenoweth, Pierce. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Heier. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon, Chenoweth, Pierce.
