HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - February 15, 1926 - CCCITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Moon, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Trustee; Durrell. Trustee Durrell entered the meeting at 7:55 P.M. The minutes of the regular meeting held February 1, 1926 were read and approved as read. After a petition had; -been pre- sented from the Fire Chief, Clyde Garrison, it was moved the Street Superintendent be instructed to make a cut in the curb west of the Fire Hall as requested. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce, Noes: None. Absent: None. The report of the District Department of the County Health Department for the months of December 1925 and January 1926 was read and ordered placed on file. Protests regarding the work on Angeleno Ave., under Intention #844, were then called for. As no protests were filed and no protestants appearing the Glity Clerk was instructed to certify to the same, and to make a record of the same in the minutes. The following resolution was presented: A RESOLUTION OF THS BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET- IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PRESCRIBING THE DEN- OidINATION OF SUCH BONDS AND OF THE INTEREST COUPONS ATTACHED THERETO. The Reolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce. Pioes: None. Absent: None. It was moved that the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for 4,000 feet of 4" pipe, according to plans and specifica- tions provided by Mr. Barker. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Moon, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce. !loss: None. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA_, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AND ADOPTING A MAP OF VISTA B014ITA TRACT IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, AND ALSO A MAP OF THE CONEY PARK TRACT IN THE CITY OF AZUSA. The Resolution was read. On motion the same was adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Meier, Chenoweth, Peirce, Noes: Trustee: Moon. Absent: None. The resignation of Mrs. A. L. Meier as a member of the Library Board was accepted. The chairman appointed Mrs. George 'Knights to fill the vacancy. It was moved that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, fdoon, Meier., Chenoweth, Peirce.
