HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 7150 0 RESOLUTION NO 715 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ADOPTING THE BUDGET AND APPROVING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 1990 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1991 THE BOARD OF DIRCTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The budget for the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990 and ending June 30, 1991 as prepared and submitted by the Executive Director and as modified by the Board of Directors, is hearby approved and adopted as the budget of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa for said fiscal year in the amount of $8,145,130. A copy of said budget is hereby ordered filed in the office of the Secretary and shall be certified by the Secretary as having been adopted by this Resolution. SECTION 2. From the effective date of said budget, the several amounts stated therein as proposed expenditures shall be and become appropriated to the respective objects and purposes therein set forth for the Agency, subject to expenditure pursuant to the provisions of all applicable ordinances of the City and Agency and statutes of the State. Further, it is established that the Agency will not exceed its budget. SECTION 3. All appropriations in the 1989-90 budget of the Agency not expended or encumbered hereby expire and terminate, except for those appropriations expressly continued and carried forward (rebudgeted) in the budget for 1990-91. SECTION 4. Amounts appropriated to any account for any object or purpose may be transferred to a different account for the same general purpose within or between the department or activities upon recommendation by the Finance Director and approval by the Executive Director. SECTION 5. The Executive Director is authorized to make such changes, additions or deletions between or among department operating budget totals during the 1990-91 fiscal year as he may, from time to time, deem desirable and necessary in order to meet the Agency's needs. The Board of Directors must approve any unbudgeted interfund transfers of $250,000 or more as it may, from time to time, deem desirable and necessary. SECTION 6. The Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa does hereby direc.v that any unappropriated balance in the General Fund and the various funds, as appropriate, as of June 30, 1990, shall be automatically appropriated into the Contingency Funds therein, respectively. SECTION 7. Pursuant to Government code 37206, warrants drawn in payment certified or approved by the Secretary as conforming to a budget approved by ordinance of the Agency need not be audited by the Board of Directors prior to payment. Budgeted demands paid by warrant prior to audit by the Board shall be presented to the Board for ratification and approval at the first meeting after delivery of the warrants. SECTION 8. Secretary shall certify . the adoption of this Resolution.
