RESOLUTION No. 728
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
DEROBA CENTENNIAL ASSOCIATES FOR ARCHITECTURAL
AND ENGINEERING EXPENSES RELATED TO THE
CENTENNIAL SQUARE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of August, 1989, the Agency and
DeRosa Centennial Associates ("Developer") entered into an
Agreement "For Reimbursing Architectural, Engineering and
Plancheck expenses related to the Centennial Square Project; and
WHEREAS, said August 21, 1989 Agreement limited the Agency's
liability to reimburse the Developer for said expenses to the
amount of One Hundred Three Thousand Five Hundred and N0/100
Dollars ($103,500.00); and
WHEREAS, additional architectural and engineering expenses
are being incurred by the Developer as a result of the plans for
Centennial Square being changed from retail/office uses to all
retail uses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of Azusa hereby approves that certain agreement
entitled "Agreement Between the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Azusa and DeRosa Centennial Associates for Reimbursing
Architectural, Engineering and Plancheck expenses Related to the
Centennial Square Project," dated August 6, 1990, and authorizes
the Chairman to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Agency in
substantially the same form as attached hereto as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2. The Secretary shall certify the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1990.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 6th
day of August, 1990 by the following vote of the Directors:
AYES: DIRECTORS: STEMRICH, NARANJO, ALEXANDER, MOSES

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF AZDSA AND DEROSA CENTENNIAL
ASSOCIATES FOR REIMBURSING ARCHITECTURAL,
ENGINNERING, AND PLANCHECR EXPENSES RELATED TO
THE CENTENNIAL SQUARE PROJECT
This Agreement is entered into this 6th day of August, 1990
by and between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa, a
Community Redevelopment Agency, hereinafter "Agency," and DeRosa
Centennial Associates, a California Joint Venture, hereinafter
"Developer."
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of August, 1989, the Agency and
Developer entered into an Agreement "For Reimbursing
Architectural, Engineering, and Plancheck expenses related to the
Centennial Square Project"; and
WHEREAS, said August 21, 1989 Agreement limited the
Agency's liability to reimburse the Developer for said expenses
to the amount of One Hundred Three Thousand Five Hundred and
no/100 Dollars ($103,500.00); and
WHEREAS, additional architectural, engineering and plancheck
expenses are being incurred by the Developer as a result of
changing the plans for Centennial Square from retail/office uses
to all retail uses.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Agency agrees to reimburse the Developer in
the amount of One Hundred Twenty Six Thousand and No/100 Dollars
($126,000.00) for architectural and engineering expenses related
to the Centennial Square Project, under the same terms and
conditions as contained in the August 21, 1989 Agreement between
the Agency and the Developer for reimbursement of these expenses.
Section 2: All other terms and conditions of the August 21,
1989 Agreement between the Agency and the Developer shall remain
unchanged.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Agency and Developer have signed
this Agreement as of the first date written above.
