The Board of Trustees of the
City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Trustees:
Durrell, Beck, Loney, Chenoweth,
Howard, City Attorney and City
Clerk. Absent. None.
The minutes of the last regular
meeting of April 19, 1926 and
Special Meeting of April 22, 1926
were read and approved as read.

Representatives of the County
Health Department were present
and informed that the Board desired
the Health Ordinance enforced and
the matter of gathering up can was
referred to the Committee on Public
W orks.
The matter of purchasing a Protect-
ograph was referred to the Purchasing
Committee with power to act.

After some discussion the matter of
Zoning the City with regard to MATTER OF ZONING THE CITY
building restrictions, was referred REFERRED TO ORDINANCE &
to the Ordinance and Judiciary JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.

The following Resolution was pre-
sented:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, DECLARING THE
OFFICE OF TAX COLLECTOR VACANT AND
APPOINTING WM. J. HOLDEN TO THAT
OFFICE AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR
COMPENSATION.
Carried by the following vote:

Chenoweth, Howard. Noes: None.

It was resolved that the business
of hiring another police officer
and allowing each officer two days
vacation a month be referred to the
Police and Sanitary Committee.

It was moved that the purchasing
of disinfectants for the PT.ungg.
be left to the Purchasing Committee
with power to act.

It was moved that the purchasing of
Police Badges be referred to the
Purchasing Committee with power to
act.
The matter of financing light and
water extentions for new subdivisions
be worked out by the Superintendent
of Water & Light Departments and an
agreement signed by the subdivider
and the Board as to the cost and
financing of the same.
It was resolved that the City
authorize the superintendent of
Water & Light to spend money up
to $75.00 in connecting up new
subscribers. Any further balance
to be paid by the consumer, refund-
ing $75.00 for each consumer who
comes on same extension.
The request of the Edison Company
to move their poles from Angeleno
Ave. to the alley between Angeleno
and uan Gabriel Avnues was referred

The City Clerk was instructed to
inform the Southern Counties Gas
Co. that all requests for per-
mission to lay gas pipes must be
accompanied with maps showing where
pipe is to be laid.
It was resolved that the Superinten-
dent of Plater and Light be instructed
to enforce Ordinance No. 208.
It was resolved that no money be trans-
ferred from the Water Fund to the
Depreciation Fund for the month of
April.
It was moved and seconded that the
City Attorney be instructed to pro-
ceed with the condemnation proceedings
in ednnection with the opening of
Paramount Avenue, the City to advance
the cost of the same.

Mr. Crosby's complaint about his
garbage was referred to the Police &
