The Board of 'Trustees of the
City of Azusa met in regular
adjourned session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees:
Durrell, Beck, Loney, Chenoweth,
Howard, City Attorney and City
Clerk.
The minutes of the last regular
meeting was read and approved
as read.
JULY 6 „ 1926. 7:30 P.M.
A communication i6rom Mr. F. M.
Strang was read and referred to
the Police and Sanitation Com-
mittee.
A letter from Mr. S. D. Stephens
was read and referred to the
Board of Public Works to report
at the nest regular meeting.
A communication from the Board of
Supervisors of Los Angeles County
was read and also a letter from
the County Road Commissioner.
Both were referred to the Presi-
dent of the Board to answer.
It was moved by Trustee Beck and
seconded by Trustee Durrell that
the taxes paid, through error,
on Lots 11-12, Block 83 be re-
funded to the Azusa Foot -Hill
Association. Amount $42.14.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Beck,
Loney, Chenoweth, Howard. Noes:
None. Absent: None.
It was moved by Trustee Chenoweth
and seconded by Trustee Loney
that permission be granted to 11r.
David Clark to put in a sidewalk
and curb at #514 W. 6th Street.
The work to be done under the
supervisioh of the Street Super-
intendent.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees: Durrell, Beck,
Loney, Chenoweth, Howard. Noes:
None. Absent: None.
The request of Mr. George Abdel-
nour to run the waste water from
his refrigerator into the street
was refused and the Police and
Sanitary Uommittee was requested
to investigate any other business
house where the same thing is be-
ing done.
A communciation from the National
Audit and Appraisal Uompany was
read and ordered placed on file.

It was moved by Trustee Loney
seconded by 'Trustee Chenoweth
that the action of the majority
members of the Board employing
Robert Refflin, to inspect the
curb and sidewalk on the Vosburg
Tract be and the same is ratified,
approved and confirmed, and the
bill of Hobert Hefflin-for such
inspection is hereby ordered paid
and a warrant drawn.

The City uj,erk was instructed to see
the uounty Assessor with a view to
the refunding of the County taxes on

'The city clerk was instructed to work
up the amount of taxes paid on strip
o fland commencing at Lot 25, Block 22
and owned by a. H. Calderbank.
The following bills were allowed and
warranted ordered drawn upon the
Treasury for the same.
