The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular aye session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Durrell, Beck, Loney, Chenoweth, Howard, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting of August 16, 1926 and the Special Meeting of September 49 1926 were read and approved as read. A communication from 0. J. Berner of the Santa Fe Railway Co. having been read, it was moved by Trustee Beck seconded by Trustee Durrell and unanimously carried that the matter be referred to the Board of Public Works. COMMUNICATION FROM MR. 0. J. BERNER READ AND REFERRED TO BOARD OF PUBLIC 'NORKS. It was moved by Trustee Chenoweth, seconded by Trustee Durrell and F. W. ZERELL GRANTED carried that F. W. OF SIXTY (60) FEET FROM ITS PRESENT EASTERLY TERMINATION IN PIEDMONT AVENUE TO THE WESTERLY LINE OF AZUSA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. be placed on its second reading. It was moved by Trustee Durrell, seconded by Trustee Chenoweth and carried, that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare plans, profiles and specifications for work on the alleys from Santa Fe Avenue to- Sixth Street between Azusa Avenue and Alameda Avenue, and between San Gabriel Avenue and Azusa Avenue. It was moved by Trustee Durrell, seconded by Trustee Loney and unanimously carried that a resolution entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IM- PROVEMENT OF MOTOR, IRWINDALE, VAN NESS, BROADMOOR, ARLINGTON AND PIEDMONT AVENUES AND MCKINLEY, PARAMOUNT; ROOSEVELT AND FIRST STREETS BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS AND CURBS AND BITUMINOUS MACADAM PAVEMENT IN TIM CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. be read. It was moved by Trustee Loney, seconded by Trustee Chenoweth that the City Attorney, -be instructed to draw up a contract with Mr. R. T.
