The Board of Trustees of the City of
Azusa met in regular session at the
above time and place.
Present at roll call: Trustees:
Durrell, Beck, Chenoweth, Howard, City
Attorney and City Clerk. Absent:
Trustee: Loney.
The minutes of the last regular meeting
and of the Special Lieeting of October
11,1926 were read and approved as read.
A letter from 1,1r. Thomas .1. Berkebile re-
garding the funds distributed for Highway pur-
poses by the Los Angeles County Board of
Supervisors was read and ordered filed for
reference.
Ictoved by Trustee Chenoweth, seconded by
Trustee Durrell that "Boulevard Stop" signs
be placed at the intersections of San Gabriel
Avenue and Foothill Boulevard; and Alameda
Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.
Moved by Trustee Durrell, seconded by
Trustee Chenoweth that the Police and Sanitary
Committee find the cost of placing plates at
the school crossings and report at the next
meeting.
Moved by Trustee Beck, seconded by Trustee
Durrell that the request of Irs. Austin with
regard to not putting a cement foundation
under the new addition at #238 Pasadena
Avenue was referred to the Board of Public
' Works with power to act.
The City Clerk reported that this is the day,
hour and place when and where any and all
protests against the Improvement of Motor,
Irwindale, Van Ness, Broadmoore, Arlington
and. Piedmont Avenues, McKinley, Paramount,
Roosevelt and First Streets under Resolution
of Intention No. 919. be heard.
The City Clerk further reported that no written
protest or objections had.been filed with
him up to the time set.
The President of the Board then asked if
any persons present desired to be heard in
the matter. No person appearing before
said Board, on motion of Trustee Chenoweth
seconded by Trustee Beck and unanimously
carried that a resolution entitled:

on the Board of Trustees of the City
of Azusa was read. It was moved by
Trustee Beck and seconded by Trustee
Durrell that the same be accepted.

be relieved of his position as Consulting
Electrical Engineer of the City of Azusa,
and. his retaining fee of $80.00 a month
be discontinued after October 31, 1926.

books•of the dater and Light Departments
at the salary of $40.00 permonth as here-
to fore.
