RESOLUTION NO. 97—R35
RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS AUTHORIZING THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY TO ENTER INTO AN EXCLUSIVE AUTHORIZATION OF SALE
AND LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE LEGASPI COMPANY REGARDING
THE 116 NORTH AZUSA AVENUE PROPERTY IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa (the "Agency") is a duly
constituted public body, corporate and politic, established pursuant to the Community Redevelopment
Law of the State of California (Section 33000 et. seg_ of the State Health and Safety Code); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 7, Section 33390 et. seq. of the State Health and Safety Code,
the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa, on April 21, 1986, acquired the property at 116 North
Azusa Avenue, Azusa; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 11, Section 33430, the Redevelopment agency may dispose of
the property only after certain analysis and public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Azusa take the following actions:
SECTION 1. Authorize the Redevelopment Agency to enter into a six month Exclusive
Authorization of Sale and Lease Agreement with the Legaspi Company to market the 116 North Azusa
Avenue property.
SECTION 2. The Executive Director is herewith authorized to execute the Exclusive
Authorization of Sale and Lease Agreement.
SECTION 3. The Agency Secretary shall certify the adoption of this resolution.

said Board held on the 4th day of August , 1997 by the following vote of the Board:
