I,IONDAY APRIL 18, 1927. 7:30 P.M.4 97 The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Trustees: Howard, Beck, bleier, Chenoweth, Durrell, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting of April 4th and of the adjourned meeting of April 7, 1927 were read and approved as read. It was moved by Trustee Howard, seconded by Trustee Chenoweth that FURTHER READIidG OF the further reading of the minutes MINUTES POSTPONED. be postponed until the next meeting. It was moved by Trustee Beck, seconded by Trustee Chenoweth and carried that this Board ratify, approve and confirm the action of the President of the Board in sending the fire engine to the Tucker ranch house fire. MOVED AND CARRIED THAT THE BOARD RATIFY, AP- PROVE AND COi4FIRI:I THE PRESIDENT'S' ACTION IN SENDING FIRE TRUCK TO FIRE ON TUCKER RANCH. Moved by Trustee Beck, seconded by Trustee Howard and carried that the Fire Captain, Mr. Clyde Garrison be sent to the meeting of the Fire Districts Association to be held at Lomita. Calif. on April 28, 1927. .After some estimates of the cost of the repairing of the Slouson Plunge had been read, it was moved by `Trustee Howard, seconded by Trustee Chenoweth that the work should be awarded subject to a con- tract approved of by the Board of Public Works. Carried by the following vote of the Board: Ayes: Trustees: Howard, Beck, Meier, Chenoweth, Durrell. Noes: None. Moved by Trustee Beck, seconded by Trustee Meier and unanimously carried that a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DIRECTING THE WOR% TO BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY ENGINEER AS DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 970 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF ALAMEDA AVENUE IN SAID CITY. be read.
